Initial consultations are 75 minutes long and consist of a detailed intake, complaint oriented physical exam and any necessary lab requisitions.
From your initial appointment you can expect a treatment plan to get started, along with any forms or lab work that needs to be completed. After your initial appointment, Ayla does an in-depth assessment of your case, along with any new lab work and compares it to the latest research. A full detailed and specific treatment plan is offered on the second appointment.
Initial consultations are 15 minutes long and consist of a brief intake, review of systems, discussion of goals and addressing any risk factors.
From your initial appointment you can expect a requisition for lab work and tailored IV plan. After your initial appointment, Dr. Ayla will review the lab results and approve you for the IV therapy. Once you’ve been approved we can book your IV drop as listed below.

Second and subsequent Naturopathic appointments are 30 minutes long. This is when we implement a full, detailed and specific treatment plan tailored to your individual needs and ensure you are meeting your health goals. Your appointment may also include acupuncture, cupping, or other therapeutic treatments.
Intravenous drips offer high dose vitamin therapy, at levels unattainable through food or supplementation. IV drips typically last 30-45 minutes. Enjoy your drip while kicking back in a reclining chair, sipping a tea and staying warm by our fireplace.
Patient’s under the care of a practitioner may occasionally be prescribed pharmaceuticals. Such plans may require regular monitoring and/or the renewal of a pharmaceutical prescription. This appointmet option provides you with a 15 minute check-in to review your current strategy and renew your exisiting prescription.
Rejuvenation acupuncture is a natural alternative for younger, firmer and healthier skin. Results can been seen as soon as your first appointment. However we've found that longer lasting and more drastic results are usually seen after 6 sessions and full results can be achieved after 12 sessions.
Your follow up appointment may already include acupuncture as a part of your treatment plan. If required, stand alone acupuncture appointments may be arranged after the initial intake. Acupuncture is not a requirement, as patient comfort is our number one priority, please voice any reservations you may have.
We offer various lab testing through Lifelabs in Dawson Creek, Rocky Mountain Analytical, Doctor’s Data, SIBO Canada and Precision Analytical. Let the practitioner know, on your intake form, if you are interested in any specific testing. We will always discuss the necessity, pros and cons of lab testing based on your specific needs.
