Initial consultations are 75 minutes long. During this time, we conduct an extensive intake, a focused physical examination tailored to your concerns, and if needed, any essential lab requisitions. Following this appointment, anticipate receiving a comprehensive treatment plan to commence your journey, accompanied by any required forms or lab work for completion.

During your 60 minute initial appointment, your acupuncturist begins with a review of systems, including: medical history, lifestyle, and concerns. Together, you'll choose the best treatment plan — acupuncture, cupping, cold laser, tui na massage, or a combination. You will have time for acupuncture in the first session but may not have time for other modalities until your follow up.
These services are available once you've had an initial appointment with one of our practitioners.
Second and subsequent Naturopathic appointments range from 15 - 45 minutes long. During this time we address changes and implement a full, detailed and specific treatment plan tailored to your individual needs based on results and ensure you are meeting your health goals.
Patient’s under the care of a Naturopathic Doctor may occasionally be prescribed pharmaceuticals. Such plans may require regular monitoring and/or the renewal of a pharmaceutical prescription. This appointment option provides you with a 15 minute check-in to review your current strategy and renew your existing prescription.

We are offering 15 minute follow-ups with our acupuncturist, dedicated solely to cold laser therapy. These quick sessions complement your standard treatments, enhancing your overall care and are intended for current clients only. An initial assessment is required prior to these follow up sessions to make sure laser therapy is appropriate for your treatment plan.
Follow up acupuncture is typically 45 minutes and always one-on-one. Small, thin needles will be gently inserted at specific points on your body. These needles will remain in place for about 15-30 minutes as you relax. After the session, you might feel a sense of relaxation or feel a bit tired. Make sure to stay hydrated and avoid strenuous activity.
Anyone with a cervix, aged 25 to 69, should undergo cervical cancer screening every three years. Naturopathic doctors offer convenient 30-minute Pap tests, along with the choice of vaginal swabs and HPV cervical screening, as part of their holistic women's health services, ensuring a comfortable and personalized experience for routine gynaecological examinations.

Oak Clinic carries a small dispensary of tincture and teas, with huge therapeutic action. A tincture is a highly concentrated herb or herbal formula that has been extracted using alcohol. These alcohol extractions have been made in small batches and each batch has been third party tested to ensure highest potency and quality.
Having a herbal dispensary allows us to make a personalized tincture or tea in quantities and ratios that best fit your therapeutic needs. Some herbs can only be found in therapeutic doses from clinical dispensaries, such as ours.
